FAQ

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we do not accept insurance. We are a cash-based practice; however, credit cards are accepted for payment. You may also use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to maximize your tax savings, when applicable.

The current insurance and medical system does not allow sufficient time per patient for the comprehensive history-taking and laboratory evaluations necessary to understand all potential contributing factors, achieve optimal health, and customize an individual treatment plan.

Our decisions are always made with your best interests in mind-not based on what brings in the highest insurance reimbursement..

Do you offer virtual consultations or telemedicine services?

Yes. In general we prefer to do the initial consultation in person. Follow up visits may be completed through telemedicine services to provide convenient access to our healthcare team.

What conditions do you treat?

Hormone replacement for men and women, health optimization, medical weight loss, and high altitude consults.

Do you offer primary care services?

At this time we do not offer primary care services. We prefer all clients to be established with a primary care physician. These services complement but do not replace the services of your primary care provider. Your primary care doctor will still be essential to you for managing acute illnesses, providing any needed vaccinations and for performing or ordering screening tests such as mammograms, pap tests, colon cancer screening etc.

What makes you different from a primary care doctor?

Since I am not constrained by insurance I can spend more time getting to know you and understanding your unique health needs. I may order more in-depth testing than your traditional primary care doctor and I will likely recommend supplements, and lifestyle modifications in additional to traditional prescription medications.

Do you take Medicare or Medicaid?

At this time we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

How do I pay for my visit?
We accept credit cards, HSA cards, and other forms of direct payment at the time of service.

Are there any additional fees?
Any additional fees for procedures, lab tests, or other services will be discussed with you prior to the procedure.

Who is a good candidate for your services?
People who are aging and want to improve their own health.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
You must cancel your appointment 24 hours before your visit or you will be charged $100.

Do you see children or only adults?
At this time I am only seeing patients over the age of 18.
